Biophilic Short-Rent Real Estate Project in Cali, Colombia
In 2024, our team was entrusted with an exciting challenge: visualizing a short-rent real estate project in Cali, Colombia. Our client was passionate about showcasing the potential of biophilic design, and we had only three weeks before their pre-launch event to bring their vision to life.
The tight timeline meant we had to move quickly and efficiently. The client needed an architectural animation that highlighted the project’s unique biophilic elements while maintaining a high level of visual fidelity. This required precise coordination between our team and the design team to ensure smooth execution within the given timeframe.
Our Approach
1. Initial Planning & Conceptualization
- We started with a strategic meeting to align with the client and the design team on scope, expectations, and key deliverables.
- Information was gathered and structured to create the animatic—a crucial step to establish the animation’s pacing and camera movements before integrating drone footage.
2. Technical Execution
- We began intensive modeling and file organization, refining complex Revit files to streamline the workflow and ensure smooth transitions in the animation.
- Within a week, we moved into full concept creation, adding intricate details and finalizing materiality with the design team.
- A significant effort went into modeling the surrounding context, thanks to our team’s dedication and expertise.
3. Pre-Launch Event & Results
- The pre-launch day arrived, and we made our way across the city to attend the event early.
- Despite unexpected power outages, the event proceeded successfully, and once the video was finally presented, the audience responded enthusiastically.
- The impact was immediate—before the presentation ended, attendees had already started reserving units.
- By the end of the night, 40 units were sold out of a total of 135. Almost a 30% of the total units.

Final Adjustments & Project Delivery
- After the event, we regrouped with the client to refine their vision further, emphasizing the integration of lush greenery to enhance the biophilic concept.
- Final refinements were made, including additional renderings and ensuring every detail aligned with the client’s expectations.
- While not our most technically complex project, it was a testament to our ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
This project was a rewarding experience that reinforced our expertise in architectural visualization under high-pressure conditions. The success of the pre-launch event validated the power of well-executed visual storytelling in real estate marketing.
